ABOUT:
Platonique is a French TV show about two friends in their mid 30’s (Elsa and Yann) who decide to leave their spouses and live together platonically. Every other week they have their children, creating a new sort of blended family. On the off weeks, Elsa and Yann party, date, and try to find themselves again in hilariously messy situations.
Using motifs based on the show, I created the design system and opening title sequence. The surreal compositions, soft color palette, and hand-drawn type act as a juxtaposition against the adult-themed subject matter.
